This afternoon I found six Rusty BB's feeding with sparrows, cardinals and
possibly other birds in the grass and mud on the near side of the C&O Canal
just downstream from Blockhouse Point.
Further downstream I spotted a very unusual turtle that I suspect is an
unauthorized pet release. It is not a red bellied, painted, spotted, mud,
snapper, red-eared, box or anything I am familiar with.
