Hi Joshua. What "type" I have no idea, but Red Crossbill is all I am hearing. It is a bit of a sweeter call note compared to White-winged Crossbill. They have more of a mechanical sound, almost a dryer, flatter, sounding like a laser blaster. Close to Red but still some noticeable differences.
