Joe - thanks for the tip, and thanks to Jeff for the spot. I got to
the site by shortly after 3:00 but did not find the bird until 3:45 at
which time it was beyond the eastern point of the park. It turned out
there were two of them! Both females; one showing close to full
breeding plumage and the other in winter plumage. They were with 8
Buffleheads, with several Common Loons in the area.
