I was able to see the female Barrow's Goldeneye this afternoon with the Bufflehead flock as previously reported. It was identifiable from the fishing pier through the scope (at 60x) but was very distant (~ 0.5 mi from bridge near shore at the mouth of Bolingbroke Ck). I did not have time or light left to walk towards the east end of the park to the jetties where the flock was but it seemed like you could get a lot closer.
