I am not sure how many of you get the daily eBird alerts for Maryland, but it is a good idea to subscribe. They can also be viewed on the web at:

The web version also includes the many excellent photos taken of rarities.
You will note that a lot of good sightings are not posted onto MDbirding, unfortunately.The daily eBird alert is very useful but obviously not as immediate as a message to the group, so hopefully birders will continue to do both (send a message to MDbirding and do their eBird checklist) when they find a good bird (or update an earlier sighting.)
