Thank You for posting this Paul,

My wife and I were lucky enough to get to know Rich while working for PRBO in our early careers, and quite simply, he is the best naturalist I have ever been around, and an even better person. He was a joy to be in the field with, and he will be deeply missed.

This is a truly sad day,
