If anyone is in search of Tree Sparrows for Howard County the Conservancy had at least 10 this morning. The best area seems to be in the fields on both sides of the stone wall below the Mountjoy Barn. I did find them throughout the property with a small flock in the Clark Honors Garden. An amazing number of Field Sparrows today...they have been consistent here but there appears to have been an arrival of more? Possible they were just concentrated in the weedy fields since they were all feeding vigorously. Fox Sparrows remain.....still near Hodgepodge Lodge and below the garden.
