A nice assortment of birds--my first time at this location. Enjoyed Common Goldeneye, Hooded Merganser, Hermit Thrush, Brown Creeper--and my favorite: a singing Winter Wren.
Three times in the last 3 weeks, WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS have been found here, and twice well-photographed. They are feeding on the spiky seed pods which I think belong to the sweetgum tree.
