I noticed a lot of people on Youtube believing this video and I know a lot of birders and conservationists are up in arms over the perceived consequences of the video. I'm overjoyed that the Centre NAD has come forward that the video is CGI, but the damage is done. With over 7.4 MILLION views and counting, a lot of foolish people, people that might harm or kill GOEA's or even imm BAEA in retaliation, don't know the truth and probably won't try to find it either. So I decided to report the video to Youtube on the grounds of promoting hatred or violence. Here's the comment I attached. I don't have too much faith in what Youtube might do (freedom of speech and what-not) though.
"This is a hoax. The institute that made this admitted that it. There are too many people who believe that this video is real. These same people are very likely to harm eagles or other birds of prey in response to this video. So the video itself isn't showing animal abuse per se, but the consequences of such a video will lead to raptors being slaughtered.
