Subject: [MDBirding] Chesterville CBC summary

Today 24 observers enjoyed seasonable weather for the 7th Chesterville Christmas Bird Count covering portions of Queen Anne's, Kent and Cecil Counties. These numbers are are unofficial, but we had the second highest species count for the circle, 102, which is good considering we are an inland circle. We had 6 new species for the count: Marsh Wren (in two sectors), Red Crossbill, White-winged Crossbill, Hungarian Partridge, Ring-neckedPheasant(both released for hunting) and Sora. Thanks to all who came out to help count!
