Hi all,
�� Got out to the North Tract of Patuxent Refuge 11:30ish this morning. Several birders were already trying for both crossbills. I had a flyover flock that went unidentified, but later got good looks at male & female White-winged Crossbills in some Sweetgum tree tops.
Striking out on Red Crossbills, but will have to try another time.
