Yes, waterfowl and hopefully other birds are moving south now and hopefully some are going to stay in MD! Bring on the finches!!!!

Late yesterday afternoon I was at home (Jug Bay) dealing with a car problem (dead car, eventually had to get it towed!), NOT birding, and I heard high flying Canada Geese. After it happened twice, I realized I should look up, and saw WAY up, barely visible with the eyes, a long string of geese. Got my bins and they were all CAGOs. This happened 6 times!, and total geese observed from about 4-4:30 was over 1000. They were all flying southeast. I also heard but did not see Tundra Swans twice, presumably they were even higher up.
