Just after 5:00 pm Sunday (12/30) along Bullfrog Road north of Baumgardner Road: The harrier appeared first then a red-tailed hawk, finally 3 Short-eared Owls hunted the big field backlit by the sunset. A herd of deer completed the wintry scene. Traffic was sparse so we stopped in the lane, since the road shoulders were snow-covered.
