On the Ft Belvoir CBC, Md Sector, yesterday, Lynne Wheeler and I saw a
Swallow-tailed Kite over Mattawoman Creek at Slavin's Dock, Indian Head,
Mattingly Ave, last street (on left) before entering Navy base, end of Rt.
210 at Indian Head. It was seen at 11:15 flying below the clouds from east
briefly over the creek, while being dive-bombed by smaller birds and then
low over western treetops. We were unable to get photo and it has not been
seen by us or confirmed since. If seen in Potomac or Mattawoman Creek
vicinity again, please alert me or CBC compiler, Kurt Gaskill,
