This morning at Governor Bridge, a single White-winged Crossbill flew north in the wake of a few Goldfinches. I observed the bird for a decently long time (~10-15 sec), but, unfortunately, only in flight. I checked the Sweet Gum and Virginia Pine trees in the parking lot, but couldn't find any feeding birds.
Bird activity was subdued in general with the low morning temps.
