Subject: [MDBirding] Address birding

Just an FYI. I did some address birding today and below are the continuing birds I found or not:

Rufous Hummingbird on Thornhill Rd - Yes at 9:41AM.

Red Crossbills at Patuxent N Tract - Yes, flyover along Wildlife Loop to Lake Allen across from airport area at about 11AM

White-wing Crossbills at Patuxent N Tract - Yes, feeding at same place; seen with Leslie Starr and Joe Turner.

Black-capped Chickadee at Patuxent N Tract - Well, maybe--there was a good candidate at the feeder with ragged bib, longer tail, slightly bigger, lots of white on wing. I would have been happier if I had heard it. Joe Turner may have gotten a picture.

Harlequin Duck at Fort Armistead - Yes, between the first and second pillars chasing a Bufflehead around at 12:40PM. Also a Peregrine perched on the 4th pillar.

Eurasian Wigeon at Loch Raven - No, at least not at Delaney Valley bridge at about 2PM.

Black-headed Gull at Hunt Valley - Yes at 2:35PM.

Long-eared Owl - Yes

Summer Tanager on Sebring - No, but I got there after 4PM and only stayed 30 minutes--too late in the day.
