Thanks for the alert. I don't know the person reporting it, but before everyone rushes to the location, I'll note there's really nothing in the description that eliminates Peregrine Falcon, which I saw on the Sugarloaf CBC Dec. 30 in Frederick County. Also, as I recall, last report of Gyrfalcon in MD (a few years ago) turned out to be a Red-shouldered Hawk--and it was by someone else who said they had seen several Gyrs before.
