The Common Redpoll found by Jon Corcoran continues at Fort Howard. I found it just slightly east (towards the bay) of the location Jon described and near the playground with the blue slide. The original message is below.

Subject: [MDBirding] Baltimore County - Redpoll, White-winged Crossbill, Great Egret
Hi everyone,

I just wanted to give better details of the Common Redpoll of today. Park in the main lot, walk to the area away from the fenceline. There will be a sign that says "<--Restrooms". There is a small building looking in the direction of the arrow. The bird was first heard and then seen feeding in a large Sweet Gum behind the building. The bird then flew down and perched for me, as if he knew eBird documentation was in order.

Also of note was a fly-over White-winged Crossbill with in the park. There was a crossbill on a large Sweet Gum near the intersection McComas and North Point Roads, though he flew before I could get any plumage detail at all. There were around 30 pipits in that field as well.

Also of note was a Great Egret in the Pond off I-695 and the I-895 over pass in Baltimore (technically Patapsco Valley SP).
