Subject: [MDBirding] Yellow-breasted Chat - North Point State Park

Hey guys,
I went to Ft. Howard to hunt the crossbills and redpolls. I had a group of goldfinches and a siskin, but could not find my target species. On the way out I caught the sound of goldfinches in the trees on the left side of the road. I was able to find a lone redpoll mixed in with the other finches, but could not get a picture that was up to my expectations. Guess I have all winter for that.
Onward to North Point State Park. I comlpetely missed the Black Marsh Trail, which probably was for the better. I parked in lot B and walked over towards the visitor center. I heard Killdeer, so I decided to try and hunt them down. Just past the visitor center to the left in a snag I found a Yellow-breasted Chat. After taking 7 pictures, it hopped back into the snag, never to be seen again. I'm sure he's still around if anyone gets a chance to go look for him.
