Hi All,
While the view of the Tufted Duck at Kent Narrows was not great, knowing it was my 1000th world lifer sure as heck was! It was really funny how last week I totally expected the Black-headed Gull to be my 1000th, but later was "reminded" by eBird that I saw one 6 years earlier on a fall trip to Maine.� But I'm glad it only took a week to correct that!
While listing isn't the end all and be all of birding, it sure adds extra excitement and challenge to birding!� Now you'll have to excuse me as my wife and I go out to celebrate!
