On Friday, January 11 while looking for Snow Geese in Charles County I came upon a male Ring-necked Pheasant at the intersection of River Road and Sankston Rd. on Cobb Neck. River Road is off Wicomico Beach Road, off of Rock Point Road (Rt. 257). Probably not a list able bird, but still fun to find. The bird did appear to be wild based on behavior, but who knows.

No Snow Geese were found as reported by a local birder along Mt. Victoria Road. They could still be around, and checking the turf farm at the end of Morgantown Rd. is another place to check.
