As we were walked towards the playground I heard and obtained visual on a group of 3 White-winged Crossbills flying towards the playground. That group was not refound, but there were Common Redpoll in abundance (at least 5) at the playground. We also had terrific looks at a beautiful male W-w Crossbill. On our way out we tried for the O-c Warbler again and came up empty yet again. We were rewarded however by a flock of 5 Common Redpoll Sitting in a tree off the entrance road above the fence. They flew off after 2-3 minutes, but we were more than pleased with our view.

I may have had the previously reported House Wren near the area where the OCWA was reported, but I only got a very brief look and could not get the bird to pop out again, so couldn't rule out Winter Wren.
