I had a likely Cackling Goose there yesterday morning (currently re-visiting a photo before entering it into eBird). Everything about it was good for cackling except the bill was slightly more pointy than I would have liked, though still smaller than the nearby "Lesser" Canadas.
I also spent a good 15 minutes unsuccessfully trying to turn a slightly light first cycle Herring Gull into a Thayer's. But, I wouldn't be surprised if the real deal (or an Iceland or Glaucous) shows up at McMillan, given how birdy this spot is right now and the forecasted cold snap.
