Subject: [MDBirding] Sparrows at the Agricultural History Farm Park, Montgomery Cty

On the way back from a pleasant walk at Blue Mash this morning, I stopped for the first time ar the Ag. History Farm Park on Muncaster Rd. In the dried high grasses behind the bluebird boxes near the entrance a FIELD SPARROW popped up, followed by a couple of SONG SPARROWS and an AMERICAN TREE SPARROW. A bit later I also saw 2 SAVANNAH sparrows, several WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS.

Nice place, protected from the wind, with a clear stream. eBird list below, underestimate for the sparrows which were often disappearing too fast for a good look.

Happy birding,

Evelyn
