Subject: [MDBirding] Sat, Jan 26 DE/MD Pelagic Still Short

The pelagic scheduled out of Lewes for this Saturday is still too short to
sail. The captain will make the call on whether he has enough to go or not
by Thu at 6:00 PM, so if you want to do this trip then now is the time to
let it be known. I'll be aboard along with a set of leaders you pelagic
veterans should be familiar with by now. Here are the basic details:

Date: Sat, Jan 26
Time: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Cost: $175 (includes mate tip)
Contact:

On recent fishing trips the captain has seen flocks of Dovekies and several
Puffins. Less than two weeks ago a group of us were fishing/birding in the
zone off DE and MD and had over 200 Dovekies, 7 Puffins, 170+ Razorbills,
60-70 Kittiwakes, and a Red Phalarope. Thick-billed Murre has already been
reported (and photographed) from land in NJ.

Here's hoping we can get enough people together to make the trip sail.
