Subject: [MDBirding] White-winged Crossbills at Nat Arboretum

At around 1:10 a flock of three White-winged Crossbills (2 males, 1 female) landed by a frozen puddle in the middle of the Grove of State Trees at the National Arboretum in D.C. and stayed for about 5 min. Later relocated with a flock of Red-breasted Nuthatches also in the grove, where they landed by a frozen puddle by the ede of the road, then flew east. Gave great looks and seemed very unwary of humans.
