A really nice day for birding yesterday. Light snow fell the entire time I was out though it got sunny briefly. The highlights includes a single BLACK CAPPED CHICKADEE at Mile 111 (photo at http://www.flickr.com/photos/62712116@N08/) and footprints for a flock of 4-6 Turkeys that I didn't count. I also had a large flock of Bluebirds. Big Pool was almost entirely frozen, just a small patch of open water which had 3 Canada Geese and 2 dozen Mallards.
