Went to have a look at the Bald Eagle nest on Conn Island this morning. The eagles were in residence - and I think they did some mating. The nest is pretty easy to see now but as soon as the leaves come out I don't think there will be much of a view from the Maryland side.
Not huge numbers of ducks but a nice little variety between Conn Island and the MD shore: Mallards, American Wigeon, Ring-necked and Common Mergansers. I took some photos but the ducks were so far away that the photos only serve as a means of identification. Nice morning to be out!
