Folks - in case anyone in the area is interested, there was a Richardson's-type Cackling Goose at the stormwater ponds on Dennis Ave in Silver Spring this morning. It was hanging with 4 Canadas and it was still there, on the embankment along Dennis Ave with them, when I left at around 0840.
