Jay Sheppard is scouting his area for Saturday's Howard County Mid-winter Count. He called at 12:55 pm to report one female White-winged Crossbill in pines along the private drive south of pond on Jennings Chapel Road between Daisy Road and Hipsley Mill Rd (Howard County). During the last irruption of crossbills, he found them in the same area.
