For both sightings today the Northern Lapwing was in Talbot County at the
intersection of Three Bridge Branch Road and Old Cordova Road. To get there
from the intersection of Rte 50 and Rte 404, go south on Rte 50 for 2.75
miles until you reach Rte 662. Take a left on 662 and continue for 1.5
miles to Three Bridge Branch Road and turn left on that road. Continue for
2.25 miles and this should bring you to the intersection with Old Cordova
Road where the birds were seen.

And where is Cordova? Who cares? Cordova is just a tiny village about two
miles away from this intersection, and the bird has been seen at the
intersection, not at the village.

Good luck in finding the bird tomorrow or later. When flying during
the second sighting it was in the company of three Killdeer. When it
was first seen today it was in the
company of nine Killdeer.
