On my way to the office this morning I stopped at the Matapeake fishing pier on Kent Island to look for waterfowl. There was a nice mix of birds there this morning
(3) Surf Scoters looked like a drake and two hens
Scaup
Bufflehead
(2) Common Goldeneye drake and hen
(4) Longtailed Oldsquaws
Horned Grebe
there were also swans presumably Whistling Tundra off shore to the northeast of the Bay Bridge as I was making the return trip around lunch time
