Watched the six fly out and to the east from the dam, at 8:19 a.m., Thur. 2/7. As usual, lots of Common Mergansers, some Hooded, some Ring-necked Ducks, tons of Canada Geese. As the six flew around before departing, one called, drawing my attention to the group. Higher-pitched than common bardyard domestic goose but similar, not at all like the Canadas.
