Subject: [MDBirding] Turkeys in Glenarden & red-breasted nuthatches continue in Cheverly

The beauty of birding is it is a hobby that travels with you where ever you go.
On that note I could not help but notice 5 wild turkeys in Glenarden in an open field around 5:30 on Sunday near the intersection of McHugh Drive and St. Joseph's Drive - the "turn in" for the Woodmore Shopping Center with Wegmans.

This was a drive by observation, so I didn't get much for details.

And in other notes I have a pair of red-breasted nuthatches visiting my feeders in Cheverly daily for months now. It sure has been a treat to enjoy this pair at such close range this winter. I'll miss them when they migrate.
