Hi all just a heads up to anyone birding in the area I had a possible female Barrows Golden Eye at Kent Narrows on Saturday 2-9-13 at about 5:30 PM in fast fading light and bird drifting north on currents with several American Golden Eyes . also diving /feeding etc flat looking head steep forehead darker color on back , yellow on bill tip also white looked more limited on wings sitting in water So anyone birding here keep eyes open and report back . I had no way to report to Md Birds DO NOT HAVE SMART PHONE OR INTERNET ACCESS on Weekend and birded on Sunday at Ocean City . I did send a text to several folks but do not think they had time to check . I did go back on 2- 12-13 eveing but had no luck finding it then . I did get a crappy distant photo and after confering with Bill Hubick it is at least suggestive for Barrows head shape but not proof positive
Female Tufted Duck was seen by me on 2-9-13 but not located on 2-12-13.
