I just realized that the Red-throated Loon that Jeff Culler and I saw is at
a different location from Jim Green's loon of 2/15.
The Red-throated Loon that we saw today was on the Choptank River near the
intersection on Choptank Rd and Water St, Preston. Pull into the marina
parking lot and look north, close to the Caroline shore, and near a large
duck blind. This is about 22 river miles south of River Landing Rd, Denton
where Jim Green found his loon.
We wouldn't have checked the river if not for Jim's post.
