Hi all,

Another way to get the same alerts 'passively', without getting a ton of
email, is the MD eBird Google gadget. It has the added benefit of being
sorted by most recently seen (whereas the email alerts might have sightings
from any time in the past week). There is a version on the MDBirding
website if you haven't checked it out yet.
