"Wow, that's a big bird - must be a red-tailed hawk. White head! White tail! OMG it is a bald eagle!" My stream of consciousness looking out at the wood lot behind the house this morning in Cheverly, MD near the intersections of Rt. 202 and the BW Parkway.
I've seen high flyovers of bald eagles from my yard, but this one looked like it was hunting in the woods like a red-tail or Coopers.
