Last Friday (2/15) I found 4 snow geese with neck collars (all black on yellow) in Worcester County. I just got the info back on them. All were females and banded as adults in Nunavut!
PK59 (band #1847-39558) banded on 8/15/2007 at SW Bylot Island.
A5H4 (band #1897-01447) banded on 7/31/2008 at Eureka Sound, Axel Heiberg Island.
RX49 (band #1937-34971) banded on 8/11/2010 at South Plain of Bylot Island.
RY57 (band #1897-22775) banded on 8/6//2011 at South Plain of Bylot Island.
Makes Nunavut seem a little less remote. :-)
