Hi All,
After watching the weather forecast over the past couple of days, we
have decided to postpone the Kent County Bird Club field trip to the
Chesapeake Farms area to Sunday, 24 February. We will be searching for
waterfowl, raptors, sparrows, and anything else kind to enough to
present itself for inspection.
We will meet folks at 8:00 AM at the Dollar General Store parking lot
between Spring St. and Philosopher's Terrace for car-pooling. You should
dress in layers - temperatures are forecast in the low 50s with 15-20
mph winds (but better than Saturday's 40s and rain), and bring snacks if
you like for this morning trip.
We can also give advance notice that the trip to Pickering Creek Audubon
Center scheduled for March 9 has been postponed a day to Sunday, 10
March because of a conflict with Walter's attendance at the Maryland/DC
Records Committee annual meeting. We will send another notice the week
before.
