Hi folks,
I made a third attempt for the Bullock's Oriole at the Kirkwood farm in Harford Co. this morning. I arrived at 8:20AM and after about an hours wait the Oriole finally appeared before my eyes! I had a feeling it was about to appear when a large mixed flock of birds, mostly consisting of House Finches, flew in from behind the barn. It frantically fed on platform feeder and suet for about ten minutes (9:20-9:30AM) and then disappeared into the trees, at which point I happily left it be.
