Subject: [MDBirding] Resident Screech Owl in Conowingo and Red-Breasted Nuthatches

We have a Red Phase Screech Owl in our wood duck box again. It stuck it's head out this evening, and at almost dark it flew directly toward a female cardinal at our bird feeders. She escaped without harm thank goodness.
We had a red phase screech owl in the same box last year from Jan 2nd to sometime in February. I have no way of knowing if it is the same one or not.

We also have had a male and a female Red-Breasted Nuthatch since September coming to our feeders on a regular bases. I've never had them stay this long before.
