Evening all,
I stepped out of my shop again at 4:45 (for fresh air, with binoculars) and almost immedietely saw a Common Raven flying above me, pretty high up, and being harassed by a tiny (but feisty) little hawk. The big raven swooped away only to be repeatedly harassed again and again. A few times the raven took tilts at the hawk. I couldn't quite make out what the hawk was, but its flight was reminiscent of a Sharpie, but I thought I saw some orange in the tail when it turned, so maybe a kestrel?
Things are starting to get interesting around here...
