Jim:

I think your report was the first one of this particular bird straying into Calvert waters. I had meant historically. You certainly got the ball rolling! I had tried for it a couple of times without luck in January and February. Seems to be favoring the area now instead of Herrington Harbor. Sure would be nice if it would move down to the area just off of the fishing pier or maybe in front of Stasz's house.

Glad you got it Tyler and thanks for the info about the county lines!� Just to clarify though (and engage in a bit of shameless self-promotion) the first Calvert report since Iliff's 1990 record was my February 3, 2013 record from the fishing pier.� But that was immediately overshadowed by the report of the Talbot County Northern Lapwing (and the ensuing controversy) the same day!� Not sure if anybody bothered to look for it until Kye Jenkins re-found.
