Hi all,
This is probably the same bird reported by Sean McCandless at Bittersweet Golf Course last week. The bird was in the water with Canadas directly in front of the boat ramp this morning at 8 AM. The flock began leaving a little at a time, flying north over the marsh, and the GWFG took off with one of the groups at about 8:10. They hadn't returned by the time I left at 9:15. I'd imagine they're feeding in the area and may return to the water this afternoon. I've posted several photos with my eBird list here: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S13237551 . I'd be interested in any opinions as to the race (Taiga, Tundra, Greenland).
