Observers:

Weather:
Cloudy or overcast; a chilly 35-36 degrees; excellent visibility; winds from the WNW, 9-13 mph

Raptor Observations:
A few migrants when the skies brightened a bit

Non-raptor Observations: A Long-tailed Duck was sitting on what looks like an old Canada Goose nest or possibly a muskrat house at the edge of the pond. This is odd in itself fora sea duck. A Canada Goose swam over, climbed onto the nest, and with its beak picked up the Long-tail by the neck and threw it off the nest into the water. The duck doesn't seem to be injured and was swimming about after the incident.
