I know it's a bit late for a post about the pelagic yesterday, but here it is. This was my first real pelagic, so the whole experience was very exciting for me. I did learn to wear water-proof pants and shoes/boots on these trips. If not for having soaking wet, freezing cold feet, I could have stayed out for a few days, but I didn't let that kill my zeal (I did stand out at Lapidum in Sandy for untold hours). Anyway here are my pictures. The best bird (and my favorite bird) of the day was the breeding plumaged Common Murre, which along with the Dovekies, was a life bird for me.
