Raptor Observations:
First triple digit day of the season, perhaps fueled by the approaching storm. Pairs of courting Red-tailed Hawks and Cooper's Hawks and three cavorting Bald Eagles

Non-raptor Observations:
First Tree Swallow of the season. A flock of 200 Canada Geese heading north.� Pied-billed Grebe.

Site Description
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best winds are
from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
