Dear KCBC members and friends,
The Kent County Bird Club will be traveling to Pickering Creek Audubon
Center near Easton on *Sunday*, 10 March. We will meet local
participants in front of the Dollar General Store, off Philosopher's
Terrace in downtown Chestertown at 8:00 AM for car-pooling. Anyone who
would like to meet us at Pickering Creek should contact us to coordinate
timing. Early spring migration is picking up its pace and the varied
habitats at Pickering Creek should offer a good diversity of migrants
and lingering winterers including waterfowl, raptors, and sparrows.
Please note that this is a change of date from that originally planned.
Also note that Sunday marks the return to Daylight Savings Time, so
remember to push your clocks ahead an hour before going to bed on
Saturday, so you rise in time to meet us at 8:00 AM.
We hope to see some of you on Sunday (somewhat-less-bright than usual),
