Frederick and Anne Arundel Counties have scheduled a joint field trip to Lilypons this Saturday (March 9). Anne Arundel participants will meet Kevin Smith at the Parole Park & Ride at 7:00AM. Please contact Kevin (<ravens3077...>) if you are going to meet him there.
Frederick County participants will meet me at the bridge over the Monocacy River on Lilypons Road near the entrance to Lilypons at 8:15AM. Please let me know if you are meeting me there. Anyone else who would like to join us can pick their poison and let the respective leader know.
I have visited Lilypons several times over the last week or two, and waterfowl seem to be on the move in the county. Last Friday afternoon two of us had 46 species in a couple of hours including Fox Sparrow, Wilson's Snipe, and 10 duck species.
